Kid Ego

I don't care what you say about HD projection TVs, I love my Mitsubishi 46" Widescreen TV.

SuperPope

Hey, man. Whatever helps you sleep at night. ;)

Momotaro

Dave, I haven't even seen your tv and I have to agree with Pat. His tv rocks the hizouse. No lie, it's that good.

SuperPope

That's great. Some projection TVs have a fairly wide viewing angle. If you spend enough money, you can get a good one. I merely explained why I made the choice I did. If I could make use of HDTV, I might have made a different choice.

Kid Ego

Noone's criticizing your choice, dude. I was merely saying that I liked my proj.

SuperPope

I did consider a projection TV, but for my little living room, 36" is enough. Erin has a tendency to get vertigo as it is...

Ravi Zacharias: Can Man Live Without God?
An amazing book that makes the case for God not by citing the Bible or great theologians, but by analyzing the philosophies of famous atheists and showing their flaws.

  • C. S. Lewis: Mere Christianity

    C. S. Lewis: Mere Christianity
C.S. Lewis was an atheist for much of his life. Appropriately, this book makes the case for the existance of God first and Christianity second with carefully outlined and surprisingly simple reasoning. I consider this required reading for anyone searching for meaning.

  • C. S. Lewis: Space Trilogy

    C. S. Lewis: Space Trilogy
Religious Sci-Fi Fantasy: A very tiny genre. In "Out of the Silent Planet", "Perelandra", and "That Hiddeous Strength", C.S. Lewis manages to tackle difficult theological questions as we follow Dr. Ransom in his adventures on Mars, Venus, and back on Earth. My favorite science fiction series by far.
